Levin Rambin's stylist Shane Cisernosis for last night's Juicy Couture event talked about getting her ready, reports FashionWeekDaily.

Ever wonder how, exactly, a celeb ends up in that frock...before the step-and-repeat, prior to the critics weigh in or Us Weekly decides who wore it best? The stylist, of course, that time-crunched, innately chic, super resourceful lass or bloke! At last night's Juicy Couture presentation, stylist (and Daily alum!) Shane Cisneros was responsible for Hunger Games actress Leven Rambin's cerulean sheath, plus the all-important accessories to go with it. Cisneros walked Chic through the process of dressing Rambin for the celeb saturated event. As for the "aww" factor: the duo met in 2006 at a Teen People shoot while Cisneros was an assistant editor there. Now, onto the styling madness!
Leven had a "fit n' go" situation where a celebrity flies in the day before and you have a quick fitting the morning before the event. Not ideal but you have to make the fitting work. It is important to allot as much time as possible for quick alterations, broken zippers, etc. Any number of things can wrong and a stylist must prepare for the worst because it may happen.

I pulled four very strong options from Juicy Couture public relations but with so many young, hot starlets attending the event the selection was tight (see attached). Even though we had limited garments to work with the Juicy P.R. ladies were accommodating the whole way through sending messenger back and fourth all week. I lost track of how may messenger were sent!

My top choice for the event was a little striped dress with a demi- poof shoulder and gold buttons (see attached). Leven loved the dress too. I communicate with my clients through the entire pull process sending the photos from iphone of my pulls and how I would like to put them together (see attached). The number one rule of red-carpet stylist is making the client happy and comfortable. I want my clients to be 100% in love with their look.
With our hearts both set on the striped dress, we made the look complete with the large, Fallon pearl necklace, very Juicy-does-a-polo-match. Sometimes a dress that looks good on the rack does not translate to the subject. Sadly that is what happened during our fitting. Like I said, you have to prepare for anything/ the worst. None of out four looks that were planned on worked, so we had to go in a new direction.

I was sent two more options from the store. One was silk black, Bird jumpsuit but the look was too severe for this event. We thought color was more appropriate for this event. We tried this blue eyelet dress on and it was magic: sweetness in the front and party in the back with a double keyhole.  Fallon jewelry worked its enchantment and made the dress less prim and more "fashion." Giuseppe Zanotti sent over a gold pair of platform slingbacks that accented her legs perfectly. There is a moment is every fitting where the client knows the dress is right and the stylist knows too. We hit the moment with the last dress we tried
on.

The amazing Asia Gregor came over to do Leven's hair and makeup at my apartment/ studio and completed the look with a messy up do that I deemed "fun debutante." One short car ride to the Upper East Side, we were at the event where the look was well received by the editors. The dress photographed beautifully. What more could a stylist ask for?
