Donald Sutherland (President Snow) has been cast in the new show Crossing Lines.

Filming will begin September 26 on location in France and the Czech Republic. Bernero executive produces and serves as head writer, with Rachel Anthony (Mistresses) and Oliver Hein-Macdonald (The Passion Of Darkly Noon) set as co-writers. Moritz Polter (Labyrinth), Charles Caroll (Criminal Minds), Howard Griffith (Criminal Minds) and TF1 Production will handle production along with executive producer Rola Bauer, who developed the series with Bernero.
This marks the first series for Munich-based Tandem, a leading producer of event miniseries like The Pillars Of The Earth. It also marks the first Tandem project to go into production since the company was acquired by France’s Studiocanal earlier this year. Studiocanal deficit finances Crossing Lines, which Tandem will co-produce with TF1 Production in association with Sony Pictures TV Networks. It will air on TF1 in France and on Sony Pictures TV Networks’ AXN channels across 81 countries. (The series has no U.S. distribution yet.) “The world keeps getting smaller and crime less containable; it’s time that our criminal storytelling goes global, too,” CAA-repped Bernero said.
