Episode 44Brand new segment testing our nature knowledge and how we would survive in the games is debuted. News story include a hint at a new trailer and coverage of the KCAs. Chapter 18 of Catching Fire is discussed, as always questions come up. Does Katniss' family really believe she is pregnant? Would people judge Katniss and Peeta for getting pregnant if they hadn't gotten "married" before? Have Peeta and Katniss mastered the art of deception? Can Peeta survive only using his wits? Do the Capitol citizens even think to question the Games or is it too ingrained to obey the Capitol? To end the show we connect the rebellion to a song, read some listener emails, and recommend a classic dystopian book.

Summary:Remember you can always listen to old episodes on Itunes.
In this Valentine's Day episode we feature one of our favorite special segments, Hunger Games Dating Game, where we portray anonymous HG characters on a dating game show. We cover Catching Fire news as well as a few awards won in the fandom. During our discussion of Catching Fire Chapter 15, we are introduced to many new victors including Finnick. We analyze Katniss and Finnick's relationship. We question why Chaff didn't accept a prosthetic arm. Would Darius and Katniss had a romance if she hadn't been a tribute? Would Katniss and Peeta have ended up like all the other victors as a celebrity if only one of them had made it out of the arena alive? We feature a fanfiction that takes place on Katniss and Peeta's first date. To end the show we relate a romantic song to Finnick and Annie's relationship.

News stories include Jennifer Lawrence's new titles, a new HG reality show knock off, more leaked photos and an actor portraying two characters. New segment relates Greek Mythology to HG, specifically Diana, the Roman Goddess of the Hunt. While discussing Chapter 12 of Catching Fire, we contemplate why Haymitch and Plutarch didn't let Katniss in on the rebellion plans. Are Capitol citizens naive and oblivious because they were raised believing the Capitol's propaganda? Do you think Gale is motivated to be a catalyst in the rebellion because that is the only chance he has at being with Katniss romantically? Did the Capitol come up with the idea for the tributes to be selected from previous victors in order to halt the rebellion or had it been planned for decades? Don't forget to enter the giveaway!

In our chapter analysis we contemplate if Gale is the bad boy and Peeta is the golden boy. What defines a bad boy? What flaws does Peeta have? Is it more captivating to read a book with a character you can relate to or a character who is drastically different than you? If Katniss saw a fortune teller who informed her of Prim's fate would Katniss have still volunteered as a tribute?

Episode 35: Boring BlizzardNews includes tons of leaked pictures of sets and actors. The focus is on Chapter 9 of Catching Fire where we bring up questions. Would Peeta made a better leader and mockingjay for the rebellion? Could Katniss have rallied District 12 to replicate District 8's uprising? Is Katniss a piece in someone else's game? Is it external forces or internal forces that cause Katniss to hurt others around her? We feature a FanFic on the perspective of Peeta when he goes back to "take care of" the girl that lit the fire in the 74th Games.
