I honestly have no idea what to say, other than Catching Fire was phenomenal.  To be honest I was not expecting much at all. I was not a big fan of the first movie, and I did not think anybody could pick off from that and make Catching Fire good. I was wrong. Kudos to Francis Lawrence for making this movie not only true to the book, but entertaining in it's own right.

One thing I complained about last year was that the "vibe" of the movie was off. It's was too shiny for my taste. However this movie was filmed in a certain way that made you feel the pain, the gore, etc. without really seeing anything too gory. The flash of a dead rabbit or the victors gutting fish added a realistic effect to scenes.

Overall, the movie was an exceptional adaption of the books.

Lionsgate has released a new Catching Fire still. The picture appears to be Katniss Everdeen in a snowy scene. Perhaps it is the day of the Victory Tour or the meeting with Gale in the woods.

Catching Fire has beat several popular movies and officially won the MTV Movie Brawl with over ten million votes. Sam Clafin (Finnick) spoke to MTV about it.
"I'm so happy and proud to say I'm a part of 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.' Just want to say a big thank you to all the fans worldwide for voting. I'm thrilled to know they are just as excited as I am for the next chapter."

In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph Jennifer Lawrence confirmed that Catching Fire filming was on break and would be finished in March.
“We’re kind of on a little break, we’ll go back and finish principal photography in March sometime I think,” she said.

Entertainment Weekly (my new favorite magazine) has released more amazing images from Catching Fire!

There is a little bit of something for everybody (Gale being a super cool rebel, Katniss and Peeta, and Prim and Mrs.E.)

Katniss and Finnick will grace the cover of the January 18th edition of Entertainment Weekly! I am not exactly sure of the 'Katniss and Finnick go to war,' thing. Seems a bit odd.

Finally we are starting to get some official releases regarding Catching Fire! Will you be picking up the magazine?

Thanks to Mockingjay.net

The first official still from Catching Fire has been released! This image from Entertainment Weekly is of Finnick and Katniss (sometime in training)!

What do you think? Are you excited for November?

Also, is it just me of does Sam Clafin look a lot like Josh Hutcherson from this angle?
