For over four years I have posted on this blog, obsessed over the books, and waited in anticipation for the movies.

Tonight, I saw Mockingjay Part 2. The end of an era, the end of years of dedication.

I will be honest, I didn't like it. Everything I liked about Mockingjay was removed, everything I disliked was extended.

It's May 8th guys, and all of us would like to give a big Happy Birthday to Katniss Everdeen, the character that truly changed our lives. It has been a long journey, and it is hard to realize that there is only one movie left! Boy, the years have flown by.

Joan G., a spanish fan of "The Hunger Games" plans to write a book in which he will talk about his more than three years as an active member of the Hunger Games Fandom, the trilogy written by Suzanne Collins, which has been adapted to the big screen in four filmic adaptions.
Starting the action in the premiere of "The Hunger Games", the first film adaptation of the series, "Memoirs of a tribute" ("Memorias de un tributo" in spanish) will narrate everything a tribute has lived, since its first reading of each of the books of this famous trilogy, the long waits for the premieres of each of the films of the saga ("Catching Fire", "Mockingjay –Part 1", "Mockingjay – Part 2")... Definitely, everything which a tribute will be able to feel identified. A review of all these magical "Hunger Games years."
"I don't know quite how to describe this project, so I like to appoint this as a 'book-fan'. In 'Memoirs of a tribute' I will narrate my experience as a tribute, as a big fan of this great and amazing universe created by Suzanne Collins, Nina Jacobson, Francis Lawrence and Gary Ross, among many others. This is an 'amateur' personal project, and I want to share it with the other members of this fandom. The aim of this is that all the tributes that they will read this book will be able to feel identified with my story and find similarities with his own story. After all, if you are a tribute, you are a member of the same orchestra as me", says the author.
The author hopes to begin writing this book very soon, a book that he has been planning since 2014.
The idea is to publish the book online, ie you will be able to read it on digital platforms. The autor hopes to finish it by the end of this year 2015, because the author wants the narrative concludes after the premiere of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" (November 2015), to release the book in early 2016.

Willow Shields discussed what Jennifer Lawrence thinks of her Dancing With the Stars appearance after her performance. Shields received a 32 (the third highest score) in her most recent competition, impressive for the youngest contestant yet!

In positively Capitol fashion (I'm giving up at this point, theme parks, museums??), there will be a Hunger Games themed expedition/museum of sorts opening up in Manhattan. You can now pre-order tickets HERE if this is something that strikes your fancy. Pre-registration will also include:
Entry into a sweepstakes for a chance to win tickets to the “Ultimate Fan Experience” on July 1, 2015. The “Ultimate Fan Experience” provides an advanced chance to see the exhibition at its premiere in New York City (which will be attended by select members of the cast) and participate in the opening day ribbon cutting ceremony, including airfare, lodging, and more!
Updates and “behind the scenes” access to the exhibition content will be delivered via email.

Francis Lawrence put out a statement announcing that Mockingjay Part 2 will be in IMAX 3D!
"I’m thrilled Mockingjay – Part 2 will be in IMAX theaters. Fans will now have the chance to see the film in any format they want, which is exciting; we recently saw the 3-D version of Mockingjay – Part 1 before its release in China, and the new level of immersion was really fantastic."
