The television premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will air on EPIX on July 26th. Will you be watching? You can watch the 'trailer' from EPIX below.
They survived the Hunger Games, but will they survive the aftermath? Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark must once again leave District 12, this time as Victors instead of Tributes. And even as President Snow attempts to control Katniss's every move, she stokes the fire of rebellion beginning to burn across Panem.

TheCapitol.PN released this new image of Peeta Mellark and President Snow from the same scene/propo that the trailer focused around. Even though these images being released are things we have pretty much already seen, I'm hoping that this will kick off the release of more Mockingjay stills. Maybe we will get some real footage pretty soon.

With the release of the new The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One trailer, MoviePilot proclaiming that Peeta is the villain of Mockingjay. Obviously, these journalists didn't read the books, but I thought it would be nice to show you some of the nonsense that has been posted.

Lionsgate officially released the 'first' The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One teaser trailer. You can watch the full video below the break, notice how Peeta is standing behind Snow. Perhaps we will get to see more of these propaganda films soon!

This still of Peeta and President Snow (presumably from the trailer) has been given to us by Lionsgate! We are finally getting some news around here.

What do you guys think? I'm in love with the coloring effects of this scene, especially the symbolic white throne. Notice the way Peeta is looking off into the distance.

Filming for Mockingjay (and essentially the entire Hunger Games Trilogy) has officially come to a close. Isn't it crazy that our fandom is coming to a close? What are you going to do in a year and a half when the final two movies have been released?

Although this day is sad, I would like to give kudos to the entire cast and crew of the Hunger Games trilogy. They have made this dream possible for all of the fans out there.

Unfortunately we did not get a trailer today. Instead CapitolPN released these "propaganda" stills featuring some of the districts.

Sam Clafin got the cover of the July 2014 edition of Glamour Magazine!

“I couldn’t help but come across comments on my casting. They were just everywhere,” laughs the 27-year-old from Suffolk. [n.d.r. Sam is actually from Norwich, Norfolk] “I started the process thinking I was going to have to have serious surgery to make everyone happy. With a young Brad Pitt’s face, Zac Efron’s abs, Dwayne Johnson’s pecs, and Channing Tatum’s left calf! But it’s impossible to please everyone. I trusted the team that brought you Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss. They had their reasons for picking me and i worked my butt off to prove to any doubters that I was the man for the job.”

Apparently the idea of a Hunger Games theme park is moving forward. Not sure how I feel about this one. A theme park based off of a magical wizarding world is one thing, a theme park based off of starvation/rebelling against an oppressive government/children killing children is another. It seems too 'Capitol' for my taste. I believe that it was even mentioned in the first book that the Capitol citizens used the old arenas as vacation destinations.

The mini-studio on Friday said it has tapped theme park creator Thinkwell Group to mount a touring exhibit, The Hunger Games: The Exhibition, to debut in the U.S. market in summer 2015.
“Thinkwell … is spearheading an initiative for line extensions ofThe Hunger Games and all of our other brands,” said Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer during a teleconference call that followed the release of his company’s fourth-quarter and full-year financial results.
“As a first step, we’ve already designed a state-of-the-art traveling museum involving costumes, props and other elements of theHunger Games world that will begin touring the U.S. next summer,” he added.
Lionsgate is also eyeing theme park attractions and other location-based entertainment opportunities as it looks to generate new revenues from its Hunger Games franchise.
The initial traveling exhibition will fill major museums and institutions across the U.S.

Lionsgate will be launching a "Hunger Games Exhibit" in the Summer of 2015.

Touring Exhibit Debuts Summer 2015
Company Appoints Veteran Thinkwell Executive To Oversee Branded Attractions
SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 30, 2014 /CNW/ – As part of its initiative to extend its global brands and franchises into new lines of business, Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), the premier next generation global content leader, will launch a U.S. tour of “The Hunger Games: The Exhibition” in summer 2015, it was announced today by Lionsgate Chief Marketing Officer Tim Palen. The state-of-the-art exhibition, which will include interactive displays of authentic costumes, props and other elements of the world of The Hunger Games, will be designed in conjunction with Thinkwell Group, one of the world’s leading theme park and location-based entertainment companies.
The first two Hunger Games films have grossed more than $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire became the highest-grossing domestic release of 2013 and the 10th highest-grossing domestic release of all time. “The Hunger Games: The Exhibition” will launch several months ahead of the November 20, 2015worldwide release of the fourth Hunger Games film, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, and will incorporate artifacts featured in the first three films from locations within the Capitol and the various Districts of Panem. The exhibition will be featured in major museums and institutions across the country and will be supported by a multimedia promotional effort and nationwide advance ticket sales.
“Now that we’ve built a critical mass of intellectual property, we’re committed to extending our brands into exciting new businesses that create opportunities for our fans to engage with our properties at the same time they deliver significant incremental financial benefits to Lionsgate,” said Palen. “We’re thrilled to launch this initiative with the U.S. tour of The Hunger Games exhibition, which celebrates the world of The Hunger Games and offers Hunger Games fans an extensive behind-the-scenes look at the movie-making process.” He noted that the exhibits will also be paired with local school curricula, and nearly all aspects of the tour will be interactive.
Palen also announced that, as part of the studio’s commitment to expand its branded retail and merchandising operations, it has brought veteran Thinkwell executive Jenefer Brown in-house, naming her to the newly created post of Senior Vice President, Branded Attractions. Brown will not only oversee the launch of the U.S. tour of The Hunger Games exhibition but will explore additional theme park attraction and other location-based entertainment opportunities around the world for The Hunger Games franchise and the Company’s entire portfolio of branded properties.
Brown brings over 10 years of experience working in both the entertainment and high-technology industries. Most recently, Brown served as both a project manager and director of business development, where she managed the strategic planning and creative development of location-based entertainment projects and live events for major film studios and Fortune 500 Companies, including Warner Bros. Entertainment, Anschutz Entertainment Group, the National Basketball Association, CORE Media Group, Sesame Workshop and Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
Brown will be overseeing the production and management of all branded attraction efforts on behalf of Lionsgate as the company focuses on expanding its IP presence in this space. She will report to Chief Marketing Officer Tim Palen. She holds a JD, cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
