The Hunger Games: Catching Fire dvd sales saw a 40% bump from the first movie, already bringing in 3.9 million sales
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has just been released on DVD and Blu-ray and the film is already seeing a 40 percent increase in digital sales over the first film that was released by Lionsgate.To date, Catching Fire has sold 3.9 million copies on DVD and Blu-ray compared with Hunger Games was which was released on DVD back in August of 2012, Variety reported.Lionsgate did report that 50 percent of all packed media sales for Fire were from Blu-ray. Hunger Games only had 35 percent of packed media sales go to Blu-ray when it was released.
