Some photos from what appear to be President Snow's Mansion have been  circulating the web. I always imagined Snow's mansion too be a bit more futuristic.

People Magazine has named Jennifer Lawrence one of the top ten best dressed of 2012.

JENNIFER: BEST RISING STAR

Nominated by: Zephyr Basine
The College Fashion blogger singled out actress Jennifer Lawrence as the star under 25 with the hottest style. “She doesn’t let the clothes wear her,” Basine says of the designer looks Lawrence picked for theHunger Games press tour. And with ensembles ranging from this backless gold gown to her copper lace sheath (both Prabal Gurung), she shows total command of style for someone so young.

Episode 33 of the Nightlock Podcast has been released. You can watch it here.
Summary:
We announce the casting of Beetee and a contest from Lionsgate. We dicuss all the new paparazzi photos of the cast members in costume. We analyze Chapter 7 of Catching Fire and some questions arise. Would Katniss have ended up with Gale if she wasn't entered in the Hunger Games? What if Katniss died in the Hunger Games? If she did, would Peeta have resorted to drinking like Haymitch? If she did, would there have been an uprising? We feature a Fun. song and relate it to the Games. In our What if... segment we discuss how the story and fan demographics would be different if Katniss was a boy.

The Examiner has posted the ten scenes they are looking forward to see in the Catching Fire movie.
10. Arena Force Field
Fans agree, the force field is an important part of the Hunger Games arena in Catching Fire, and they're excited to see how it's portrayed on the big screen. Even more than the force field itself, fans want to see the moment when Peeta gets electrocuted.
"It just opens the door for so many things," fan Jacqueline wrote. "We get to see parts of Katniss's emotions that she typically would not express because she usually tries to hide those sorts of things. Katniss's shock at Finnick giving Peeta CPR because it isn't common where she's grown up. And just Finnick's reaction to Katniss's because up until that point he'd thought of their romance as just an act."
9. A Blossoming Romance
Fans are also looking forward to some of the sweeter, smaller moments in the story that indicate a growing romance between Katniss and Peeta -- such as the train ride through the districts, in which Katniss finds comfort by snuggling with Peeta at night. (Awww.) Another fan favorite is when Peeta gives the pearl to Katniss when they are back in the arena.
"It shows the love they share is strong and nothing can tear their love for each other apart," said Hunger Games fan Tabitha Torres Dolar.
8. The Tour
Of course, Catching Fire won't be the same without the Victory Tour that takes Peeta and Katniss to the other districts in Panem. Expect emotional scenes in District 11, and a glimpse at life beyond just District 12 and the Capitol.
7. The Whipping
Catching Fire finally gives Gale (Liam Hemsworth) some more screen time. If we're lucky, we might even get to see some more of his family members. He's also the focus of one of the story's most intense scenes, a whipping by the Peacekeepers.
"That will be hard to watch!" wrote one anonymous fan.
6. A Presidential (Snow) Visit
We only saw a very brief interaction between Katniss and President Snow at the end of The Hunger Games, but a bigger encounter is ahead in Catching Fire -- and fans can't wait to see the moment when Snow pays a visit to Katniss's new home in the Victor's Village area of District 12.
"I love all the tension in that scene and am really excited to see it come to life," wrote fan Megan Kanyo. "It's the first scene in the books when you see them really face off. And what they say in that scene sets the ground for an important decision Katniss makes in Mockingjay. It really is just this amazing scene where you see a rebellion start to take form. Jennifer Lawrence and Donald Sutherland are both wonderful actors who I'm sure will do it justice."
5. Tropical Paradise Lost
"The scenes that I'm probably looking forward to the most are the beach scenes on the tropical island during the Quell," wrote fan Corey Paxton.
The Hunger Games arena has a noticeably different look in Catching Fire. A tropical arena featuring a large body of water is "no place for a girl on fire," as Katniss notes in the book. Though some of these scenes will likely be filmed on a sound stage, production will head to Hawaii later this year to shoot some moments on location.
4. Finnick Odair
Can you say "sugar cubes"? Yes, fans are anxious to catch any glimpse at Sam Claflin in character as Finnick Odair, but it's likely his first encounter with Katniss that will really make a mark, when he's clad in a barely-there fishing net costume, and offers her some sugar cubes.
3. The Wedding Dress
Cinna's latest masterpiece is Katniss's wedding dress -- which later turns into a dramatic, fashionable interpretation of a Mockingjay (the symbol of the rebellion). Cinna's fashionable creation gets a lot of attention from the citizens of Panem -- and, unfortunately, from President Snow. As readers know, Cinna pays the ultimate price for his act of rebellion.
2. The Quarter Quell Reaping
The Reaping in The Hunger Games was easily one of the most emotionally charged scenes in the first movie -- and if we get a glimpse at the Reaping in both District 12 and beyond, the Reaping in Catching Fire could be even more intense. Can you imagine, especially, the moment when little old Mags volunteers to save a hysterical Annie from returning to the arena?
1. Peeta's Interview Bombshell
Easily one of the most anticipated scenes in Catching Fire is when Peeta drops yet another bombshell during his interview with Caesar Flickerman. In The Hunger Games, he whipped up a frenzy by confessing his love for Katniss Everdeen -- but he outdoes himself in Catching Fire by announcing that he and Katniss wed in secret, and that she's pregnant.

Elisabeth Banks talked about Effie and the Hunger Games with Express.co.uk
“Well, I frankly ripped off Rosalind Russell in the 1958 comedy Auntie Mame,” she admits.
“She’s one of my favourite actresses and that is one of my favourite performances. I also rewatched The Philadelphia Story because I like to remind myself of the pacing of these older films and that helped me find Effie’s voice. I knew that I wanted this kind of theatricality and the sound of the movies from the 40s but it took a few takes to feel like I was really living in her voice. The director [Gary Ross] was very patient with me.”

“I understand why people make the comparisons because there’s a female protagonist and two guys, but they are also very different. Although the Twilight films are fun to watch I don’t know what they are saying about life generally.
“They are almost so fantastical that I’m not sure what you hold on to other than the love story. Whereas The Hunger Games is about so many things. It says something about society.”
