Listen to Josh Hutcherson speak about Catching Fire on 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest.'
“I think in [Catching Fire] the story kind of opens up a lot. There’s a lot more interesting plots that start to develop and everything kind of thickens and we sort of just up the overall feel of the movie. I mean, we kept the same idea of the first with the whole world. But we kind of bumped it up a little and made it a little more immersive, but it’s really great. [And] we stayed true to the book as always. The characters are all fantastic.”

CL Casting  put out a notice for extras that sounds a lot like Mockingjay.
Have you ever dreamt of wearing amazing runway outfits? Having your hair done in an abstract and unique way? Or perhaps wearing extremely detailed make up that you only see in the movies?

If the answer is yes to any of these, then we want to meet you. We have an upcoming feature that requires amazing faces and bodies, and we are looking for people that can bring unusual characters to life.

Last time for this ‘science fiction trilogy turned film series,’ we had you put yourself on tape but because this one is vastly important, we are requiring we meet each of you in person. If chosen, please know this will be a long shoot, requiring multiple days.

Due to the detailed nature of this film, we are casting this project in stages. This round we are ONLY requesting those to submit between the ages of 18-40. We are sorry, but no children and no one over 40 at this time! (Those submission dates will be released at a later time).

If you are interested in submitting for this project, please e-mail CLCEccentric@gmail.com. Please include 3 pictures (head and body), your age, height, weight, and all contact info. Please put your gender, ethnicity and age in the subject box.
Example: Male, Caucasian, 31

William Levy is in talks to star in Mockingjay, according to Latin Times.

According to the radio show “Fórmula Espectacular.” They reported that the producers of the movie are in talks with the actor’s representatives so he can join Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.”
Hmm... I would be very interested to know what character they want him to play? I can't really think of anybody. Perhaps Boggs or one of the District 13 solders (a stretch)? Maybe he is replacing Sam Clafin as Finnick...

Disclaimer: This is currently a rumor and cannot be confirmed by Lionsgate (or any official sources) at the moment.

YAY! Suzanne Collins is going to write another teen series! According to an article in USA Today:
Suzanne Collins, author of the best-selling The Hunger Games trilogy, plans to write another teen series but isn’t ready to reveal more. First, she says, she’s consulting on the scripts for the third and fourth film adaptations of her dystopian series that has more than 50 million copies in print. [...] At a discussion Thursday night on writing about war for young readers, sponsored by her publisher, Scholastic, Collins said if kids “have no idea what propaganda is, how will you ever know when it’s being used against you?”

How excited are you on a scale from one to ten? Personally, I am 1,000!

Capitol Couture has launched a spring issue featuring Effie Trinket.

Since guiding her tributes to victory, District 12’s exuberant escort Effie Trinket has quickly become an icon of the 74th Games, and a Capitol phenomenon. Effie has built her larger-than-life persona through a persevering positive attitude, and the best manners and fashion sense in the Capitol. Capitol citizens are likely to spot her trailed by snapping cameras, posing with her ever-present, ebullient smile. But what is she like when cameras aren’t rolling?  We joined her over a typical day to find out.
11:00 am: Effie meets with the designer of the dress she’ll be wearing later this evening. The creation is exquisite; a flamingo’s dream of pink ruffles. “It’s a shame I can only wear it once,” says Effie.

1:00 pm: She sits down to a sumptuous feast filled with the finest of fare and quaffs, accompanied by the most cultured conversation… and served on a mahogany table no less...
