“I think in [Catching Fire] the story kind of opens up a lot. There’s a lot more interesting plots that start to develop and everything kind of thickens and we sort of just up the overall feel of the movie. I mean, we kept the same idea of the first with the whole world. But we kind of bumped it up a little and made it a little more immersive, but it’s really great. [And] we stayed true to the book as always. The characters are all fantastic.”

William Levy is in talks to star in Mockingjay, according to Latin Times.
According to the radio show “Fórmula Espectacular.” They reported that the producers of the movie are in talks with the actor’s representatives so he can join Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.”Hmm... I would be very interested to know what character they want him to play? I can't really think of anybody. Perhaps Boggs or one of the District 13 solders (a stretch)? Maybe he is replacing Sam Clafin as Finnick...

Suzanne Collins, author of the best-selling The Hunger Games trilogy, plans to write another teen series but isn’t ready to reveal more. First, she says, she’s consulting on the scripts for the third and fourth film adaptations of her dystopian series that has more than 50 million copies in print. [...] At a discussion Thursday night on writing about war for young readers, sponsored by her publisher, Scholastic, Collins said if kids “have no idea what propaganda is, how will you ever know when it’s being used against you?”
How excited are you on a scale from one to ten? Personally, I am 1,000!

Since guiding her tributes to victory, District 12’s exuberant escort Effie Trinket has quickly become an icon of the 74th Games, and a Capitol phenomenon. Effie has built her larger-than-life persona through a persevering positive attitude, and the best manners and fashion sense in the Capitol. 1:00 pm: She sits down to a sumptuous feast filled with the finest of fare and quaffs, accompanied by the most cultured conversation… and served on a mahogany table no less...
