A fourteen karat gold mockingjay pin will be sold at Target for $999 reports NYDailyNews.
For superfans of "The Hunger Games," it may be hard to put a price on
the kind escapist fantasy that the series provides, but megaseller
Target is making a valiant attempt to do just that.
For a whopping $349 apiece, 100 lucky fans can own a replica of Katniss
Everdeen's leather hunting jacket, and for $699, "Hunger Games"
enthusiasts can even take home a lithograph autographed by 10 of the
flick's cast members.
But it's a 14-carat gold replica of Katniss' iconic Mockingjay pin that
will tip the scales when it's released in limited edition on Target.com
at a mind-boggling $999.
